Macelowa Góra (801 m a.s.l.) is one of the wildest and most scenically rewarding massifs in the Czorsztyn Pieniny — forested, studded with limestone outcrops and surprisingly rich in wildlife. No marked trails cross the summit itself, but the surrounding area offers spectacular rock formations, rare birds and plants, and the untamed atmosphere of a primeval Pieniny forest.

The massif has an elongated ridge with two peaks — the main one at 801 m and a western summit at around 795 m. The eastern slopes drop into the Górczyn Gorge, while the southern flanks fall steeply toward the Dunajec River. It is from the south that the mountain looks most dramatic: the White Rocks (Białe Skały, 598 m), undercut by the Dunajec, rise here, followed by the striking Red Rocks strip — their rusty colour coming from coloured marls and sandstones. On the southern slopes, fragments of natural spruce forest survive alongside pine trees estimated at around 130 years old. Autumn turns this landscape into a painter's palette of golden beeches, pale limestone and deep-blue river.

• Sromowce-Kąty (rafting wharf) — red trail toward Trzy Kopce Pass — runs along the base of the mountain with excellent views of the massif; approx. 1.5–2 h, moderate difficulty.
• Road to Sromowce Niżne — the road skirting the foot of the massif allows you to approach on foot or by car and view the White Rocks and Red Rocks formations.

• A large part of Macelowa Góra falls within the strict nature reserve zone of Pieniny National Park — leaving marked trails is prohibited.
• No tourist trails cross the summit.

The slopes of Macelowa Góra are home to rare plant species including yellow corydalis and fly orchid, while kestrel, eagle owl and wallcreeper have all been recorded nesting here — a genuine paradise for nature lovers.
