Lisiura is a modest but charming peak in the Karkonosze Foothills, tucked away among the forests between Podgórzyn, Przesieka and Sosnówka. It's a great pick for anyone wanting a peaceful walk away from the crowds, surrounded by lower montane forest.
The summit forms part of a long ridge running from Młynarz, through Wierzchnica, Warzelnia and Bukowna, ending at Podgórzynka. Built of Karkonosze granite, Lisiura hides small rock formations on its lower slopes, adding character to the wooded landscape. In summer the peak is shaded by dense tree cover, while in autumn the forest turns golden and red - making it a pleasant, undemanding hike in any season.
How to reach the summit
Lisiura is one of those quiet corners of the Karkonosze Foothills where you can slow down, listen to the forest and enjoy a simple, uncomplicated mountain walk.
