Kyrkawica (978 m a.s.l.) is a quiet but surprisingly rewarding summit in the Silesian Beskids, sitting right on the Polish-Czech border along the main ridge of the Stożek and Czantoria Range. It is the kind of place that rewards those who venture beyond the most popular peaks — offering rocky formations, ridge-top atmosphere and cross-border trail connections all in one spot.

The ridge makes a sharp turn at Kyrkawica, switching from an east-west to a north-south direction, which opens up views from the south-western slopes towards the Moravian-Silesian Beskids and the unmistakable Lysá hora with its tall TV transmission tower. The landscape shifts beautifully with the seasons — lush green in summer, a blaze of beech colours in autumn, and a hushed snowy corridor in winter. Do not miss the 'Stone Mushrooms of Kyrkawica', fascinating weathered outcrops of coarse-grained Istebna sandstone eroded into remarkable shapes right along the ridge.
