Kotník (883 m a.s.l.) is a distinctive ridge in the Levoča Hills that is hard to miss — a 73-metre steel telecommunications tower crowns its summit and serves as a landmark visible from the surrounding valleys. Tucked in the northern edge of the range, close to Stará Ľubovňa and Podolínec, it offers marked trails and sweeping views over the Poprad Basin.

The peak stretches as an elongated ridge running northeast to southwest, rising above the Poprad river valley. The terrain is accessible and rewarding in every season: spring brings fresh greenery to the forested slopes, summer offers a cool canopy, and autumn paints the hillsides in warm amber and red. Because Kotník lies outside the former Javorina military training area, the nearby villages have long been connected to the summit by a network of hiking trails.
