Kopec (1,252 m a.s.l.) is the second highest peak in the Skorušinské vrchy range in the Slovak Orava region — a quiet, forested summit that rewards hikers with a genuine sense of wilderness and solitude, far from the busy tourist trails of the High Tatras.

The mountain sits on the historic boundary between the Orava and Liptov regions, and its slopes drain into two separate river basins — the Orava and the Váh. The summit itself is covered by continuous forest and offers no open panorama, but clearings on the flanks reveal partial views of the surrounding Skorušinské vrchy hills, the Choč Mountains, the Western and Low Tatras, the Orava Beskids, Oravská Magura, and the Malá and Veľká Fatra ranges. The terrain is typical woodland hiking — pleasant in all seasons, with golden beech forests in autumn and quiet snowy trails in winter.
