Kopalniana Góra is a modest but charming peak in the Śnieżnik Massif, tucked away in the shadow of its famous neighbor. It's a great pick for hikers who want quiet trails and a genuine taste of the Sudetes without the crowds.

The mountain rises from the slope of Opacz, forming its northern, lower summit - the last one in the Śnieżnik range. It stands scenically above a bend of the Nysa Kłodzka river and the buildings of Potoczek, with the Jadłówka stream flowing into the Nysa Kłodzka at its foot. The slopes are covered with dense spruce forest typical of the lower montane zone, offering cool shade in summer and a snowy, fairy-tale scene in winter. Expect calm and solitude, typical of the lesser-visited corners of the Śnieżnik Landscape Park.
