Jonsberg (652.9 m a.s.l.) is a peaceful, fully forested peak in the Zittau Mountains — a perfect escape for anyone who loves quiet woodland walks without the crowds. Its gentle, cone-shaped profile rises just above the charming village of Jonsdorf, promising a relaxed and rewarding outing.

The summit is wrapped in dense forest year-round, offering cool shade in summer, stunning autumn colours, and a wonderfully serene snowy atmosphere in winter. In the colder months, a groomed cross-country ski trail runs around the mountain, and when snow conditions are right, the old trade road known as the 'Leipaer Straße' can be skied all the way to Olbersdorf. The village of Oybin lies to the east and southeast, making this area a natural hub for exploring several highlights in one trip.
