Ježová (2,043 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding off-trail summit in the Western Tatras of Slovakia, tucked above the Račková valley near Pribylina. With no marked hiking trails leading to the top, it offers a genuine sense of adventure and a sweeping 360-degree panorama for those willing to navigate unmarked terrain.

The peak sits along the Grúň ridge, which extends southwest from Bystrá (2,248 m) through Nižná Bystrá down towards Kečka. The rocky and alpine grassland summit divides two valleys — Bystrá to the east and Račková to the west. On a clear day the views stretch across the Western and High Tatras, the Podtatranská basin, and on exceptional days even the Low Tatras, Slovenský Raj, and Veľká Fatra come into view. Summer brings lush alpine vegetation to the slopes, while in early spring and late autumn snowfields can make the ridge challenging.

• From Bystrá peak — follow the unmarked ridge path heading southwest; this is the easiest approach but still requires off-trail navigation experience and is considered demanding.

• There are no marked tourist trails to the summit — off-trail navigation skills are essential.
• The area lies within Tatranský národný park (Tatra National Park); respect all park regulations.

The Grúň ridge acts as a watershed: rain falling on the eastern slopes drains into the Biela river via Bystrá stream, while the western side feeds the Račková stream — both ultimately flowing into the Váh.
