Jarmutka (690 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the Little Pieniny range of southern Poland — a perfect escape for anyone who wants to trade crowded trails for the peaceful rustle of a Carpathian beech forest. Tucked just northwest of its taller neighbour Jarmuta (794 m), it rewards those willing to go off the beaten path.

The mountain is almost entirely blanketed in Carpathian beech forest with a scattering of pine. Its western slopes descend into the Valley under Jarmuta, while the northern flanks drop toward the Grajcarek valley. A narrow grassy hollow called Bednarzowska Valley runs down from the saddle known as 'Siodełko' between Jarmutka and Jarmuta, adding a lovely sense of seclusion. At the summit a small clearing opens up, offering a view over the Radziejowa ridge and the spa town of Szczawnica below. In autumn, when the beeches turn gold, this forest is truly magical.

• Szczawnica, Szlachtowska Street — follow forest roads to the top; no marked tourist trails exist; difficulty: easy to moderate.

• There are no marked hiking trails on Jarmutka — the summit is reached via forest tracks.
• After visiting Jarmutka, it is well worth continuing uphill to the Andrzejówka meadow below the summit of Jarmuta (794 m), where the panoramic views are far wider.
• The peak lies within the administrative boundaries of the town of Szczawnica, Małopolska region.
