Groń (743 m a.s.l.) is a modest yet charming peak in the Czorsztyn Pieniny range, rising right above the village of Hałuszowa. It's a great pick for hikers seeking a quieter alternative to the busier Pieniny trails, while still enjoying the region's distinctive mountain scenery.

Back in the late 19th century, Groń was nearly treeless, with only scattered junipers and spruces dotting its slopes. Today the mountain is far more forested, though the stretch between the summit and the main Pieniny ridge remains open — a patchwork of meadows and farmland that glows green in summer and golden in autumn. To the south, Groń overlooks the Sańba pass, offering views typical of the Pieniny landscape: gentle hills interwoven with rocky ridges. The quiet, intimate character of this peak makes it a lovely destination for an easy walk in any season.
