Goworek (1320 m a.s.l.) is one of those summits that rewards the determined — with sweeping views over the Kłodzko Valley and the unique thrill of standing right on the border between two countries. A twin peak to Mały Śnieżnik, it sits on the Polish-Czech border in the heart of the Śnieżnik Massif in the Eastern Sudetes.

The summit and its surroundings are covered in a vast boulder field — a classic feature of this part of the Eastern Sudetes, built from gneisses of the Lądek and Śnieżnik metamorphic complex. From the top, you get a great panoramic view over the entire Kłodzko Valley. The approach from the south is long, steep and genuinely tiring, but it offers excellent viewpoints over the Czech (Moravian) side of the Śnieżnik Massif along the way. In summer the boulder fields catch the light beautifully; in winter the whole area takes on a raw, almost alpine character.

Goworek is considered the 'twin' of nearby Mały Śnieżnik — the two peaks form a recognisable pair in the Śnieżnik Massif skyline, easily spotted from the Kłodzko Valley below.
