Dogiaska (1,761 m a.s.l.) is a rewarding peak tucked into the central part of the Svydovets massif in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It combines open alpine meadows, a picturesque mountain lake and a sense of genuine wilderness that is increasingly rare in the region.

The western and north-eastern slopes of Dogiaska are steep and rugged, while the northern, southern and south-eastern faces descend more gently into the surrounding valleys. A flysch saddle to the north connects the summit to the main Svydovets ridge. Nearby neighbours include Kotel (1,770 m) to the east and Troiaska (1,702 m) to the north-west. The southern slope drops into the scenic Vedeneska Polonyna upland pasture. Beside the north-eastern flank lies the small mountain lake Dogiaska — also known as Herashaska — a lovely spot to pause and take in the surroundings.

• From the village of Chorna Tysa or Kosivska Polyana — approach via the polonyna meadows, moderate difficulty.

• The peak is located in the Rakhiv district of Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine — a valid Ukrainian visa or entry document is required.
• There are no mountain huts near the summit; plan accommodation in the surrounding villages before setting out.

Svydovets remains one of the quieter massifs in the Ukrainian Carpathians, making Dogiaska a genuine off-the-beaten-path destination for those who love unspoilt mountain scenery.
