Czubik (1,846 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, rounded summit in the Western Tatras that rewards visitors with a gentle atmosphere and lovely views over two contrasting valleys. Tucked along the northern ridge of Kończysty Wierch, between Dudowa Pass and Przełęcz nad Szyją, it may not be the most prominent peak in the range, but its soft landscape and spectacular autumn colours make it a genuinely memorable stop.

The ridge and slopes of Czubik are smooth and relatively gentle, making it an easy and relaxing walk. The upper sections are covered with mountain grasses — rush and mat-grass — dotted with patches of dwarf pine. The real highlight is the blueberry — three different species grow here, and in autumn they turn the hillside into a vivid tapestry of gold, crimson and burgundy. On the eastern slopes dropping towards Starorobociańska Valley lies the Dudowy Kocioł cirque with the Dudowe Stawki tarns, and lower down the steep rock walls of Dudowe Turnie with a gully and waterfall. On the western side, a spur called Przykra Kopa descends towards Jarząbcza Valley, dotted with springs in its lower section.

• The marked trail does not cross the actual summit of Czubik — it traverses the ridge along the western side of the peak.

Czubik sits along the green trail connecting Trzydniowiański Wierch with Kończysty Wierch, making it a natural and rewarding section of a longer ridge walk through this part of the Western Tatras, with views into two valleys at once.
