Čerenová (1,221 m a.s.l.) is a rugged and rewarding peak in the Choč Mountains of northern Slovakia, sitting above the quiet village of Liptovská Anna. What makes it special is the dramatic viewpoint known as Čerenová skala — a rocky outcrop on the southern edge of the massif that opens up a sweeping panorama over a huge stretch of the Western Carpathians.

The peak forms a shared massif with its taller neighbour Lomné (1,278 m) to the north, separated by a shallow saddle. The terrain varies strikingly depending on which side you approach: the eastern slopes descend gradually toward the beautiful Prosiecka Valley, while the southern and western flanks drop steeply in dramatic rocky walls. From the Čerenová skala viewpoint, you can spot the bulk of Veľký Rozsutec and the Choč massif to the west, and on clear days the Western Tatras, Low Tatras, Orava Beskydy, Orava Magura, and the ridges of both the Malá and Veľká Fatra stretch across the horizon. The area shows classic karst features, and the nearby Prosiecka Valley is a protected national nature reserve.
