Čebrať (1054 m a.s.l.) is a striking twin-summit massif in the northern part of Veľká Fatra in Slovakia, rising steeply right above the town of Ružomberok. It rewards hikers with sweeping Alpine panoramas after a surprisingly short and manageable climb — making it a perfect half-day adventure.

The massif has two distinct summits: the higher Zadný Čebrať (1054 m) to the northwest and the lower Predný Čebrať (945 m) to the southeast, which drops almost directly onto the rooftops of Ružomberok. Rocky outcrops in the form of pulpits and towers jut out from the slopes — especially on the southwest face — and several caves are hidden within the massif, including a fissure-type cave with 120 m of passages. The slopes are mostly covered in dense spruce forest, but on rocky ledges you can find rare warmth-loving and limestone-loving plants such as branched St Bernard's lily, golden flax, and pasqueflower. The view from the lower summit is spectacular: the western Liptov Basin, Veľká Fatra, Malá Fatra, the Western Tatras and the Low Tatras all spread out before you.

• The main summit (Zadný Čebrať) is completely forested with no views — the rewarding viewpoint is the lower Predný Čebrať.
• The massif lies outside the boundaries of the Veľká Fatra National Park and its buffer zone.

From the centre of Ružomberok, Čebrať appears as a perfect pyramid — only from the Černová district or from the northeast does its true twin-peaked silhouette reveal itself.
