Brestowa Kopa (1,903 m a.s.l.) is a prominent rocky peak along the main ridge of the Western Tatras in Slovakia, sitting at the heart of the scenic Roháče range. Its exposed summit offers a full 360-degree panorama, making it a rewarding destination for ridge walkers exploring this lesser-known corner of the Tatras.

The peak rises between the Pálenica saddle to the west and the Parichvost col to the southeast, forming a broad, imposing massif. On clear days, the view from the rocky top stretches to the High Tatras, Malá Fatra, the Orava Beskids and mountain ranges across the Polish border to the north. In summer the surrounding pastures are carpeted with alpine flowers; in autumn the ridge glows in warm golden hues. The Bobrovec valley lies to the south, while the Dlhá jama hollow drops away to the northeast — two entirely different worlds separated by a single ridge walk.

• The peak falls within Tatra National Park (TANAP) — hikers must stay on marked trails at all times.
• The ridge forms the natural historical boundary between the Orava and Liptov regions.
• The rocky summit dome is free of obstructions, giving uninterrupted all-round views.

Interestingly, although Brestowa Kopa is considered the main summit of the massif, the highest point within it — at 1,934 m — lies slightly to the southeast and remains officially unnamed to this day.
