Bendoszka Wielka (1144 m a.s.l.) is one of the highest peaks in the Wielka Racza Group of the Beskid Żywiecko-Kisucki range — and one that genuinely rewards visitors with sweeping, open views. A vast alpine meadow, a landmark 23.5-metre cross visible from afar, and a relaxed hiking atmosphere make this summit a memorable destination.

The summit and ridges of Bendoszka are covered by the large Pasulówka meadow, which means the panoramas here are unusually wide and unobstructed. On a clear day you can see the Malá Fatra massif across the Slovak border and the Barania Góra ridge in the Silesian Beskids. In summer the grassy slopes invite a leisurely walk; in autumn the meadows turn golden, making the whole area a photographer's delight. The peak lies within the village of Rycerka Górna in Żywiec County, Silesian Voivodeship.

The name 'Bendoszka' comes from the surname Bendys — though official Polish maps often spell it 'Będoszka', researchers consider 'Bendoszka' to be the historically correct form. A small linguistic curiosity to ponder on the way up!
