Bednárová (1093 m) is a quietly special summit in the Żywiec-Kysuce Beskids — the Polish-Slovak state border runs right across its ridge, and so does the Great European Watershed. That means rainfall on the peak drains toward either the Baltic or the Black Sea depending on which side it falls.

The peak sits within the Oszus Group, between Bukowina (1069 m) and the saddle of Pański Kamień (approx. 980 m). The entire mountain is covered in dense forest, so expect a peaceful, sheltered walk rather than sweeping open views. The northern slopes descend into the valley of the Cicha stream near Soblówka, while a side ridge stretches southward on the Slovak side toward Bukovina. In every season the atmosphere is calm and woodsy — a real escape from busier trails.
