Baranie Rogi (2,526 m a.s.l.) is one of the most rewarding off-trail summits in the High Tatras — a wild, double-horned peak that offers sweeping 360-degree views and a genuine sense of alpine adventure away from the crowds. Its two summits, shaped like a ram's horns, make it instantly recognisable along the main ridge.

The peak sits in the main ridge of the High Tatras, wedged between Ľadový štít (2,627 m) and Jahňací štít (2,230 m). A broad, boulder-strewn summit plateau — locally known as Barania Galéria — stretches above the southern face, giving the mountain an imposing, fortress-like character. On a clear day the panorama reaches far beyond the Tatras themselves: the Belianske Tatry ridge, the Poprad Basin, the Low Tatras, the Levoča Hills, the Orava Beskids and numerous peaks across the Polish border all come into view. In summer the surrounding valleys burst with alpine life; autumn paints the slopes in copper and gold; winter turns the whole massif into serious alpine terrain requiring full mountaineering equipment.
