Bajków Groń (716 m a.s.l.) is a quietly charming peak tucked into the western part of the Pieniny range, entirely cloaked in forest and surrounded by the traces of old pastoral meadows. The summit itself is off-limits to visitors, but the trails winding around its slopes offer a genuine taste of wild Pieniny scenery.

Because the peak is fully forested, there are no open-summit views — but the nearby clearings at Istebki and Wymiarki passes give you a glimpse of what these hillsides once looked like when they were open grazing land. In 1939, local writer Tadeusz Milicki described 'magical meadows full of colourful flowers' and clusters of beeches, spruces, firs and silver birches — and that atmosphere still lingers here today. Rocky outcrops dot the northern slopes, while the southern side hides a small cave called Schronisko w Bajków Groniu. The area is also a noted haven for butterfly enthusiasts.

• Krościenko nad Dunajcem — yellow trail (shared with blue trail), approx. 1 hr 10 min, moderate difficulty. The trail traverses the western and northern slopes heading towards Szopka pass (779 m).
• Trzy Korony — blue trail (Sokola Perć), approx. 1 hr descent to the trail junction at 689 m; from Czerteż approx. 45 min, from Szczawnica approx. 2 hr 50 min.

• Bajków Groń lies within Pieniny National Park — leaving marked trails is strictly prohibited. The summit itself is closed to tourists.
• Trail times are measured to the trails junction at 689 m, not to the actual summit.

Between 1906 and 1909, naturalist Ludwik Sitowski conducted butterfly research in this area — a reminder that Bajków Groń has long attracted curious visitors drawn by more than just the views.
