With nearly 10,000 cultural artifacts, the collection traces the story of Botevgrad and its surrounding villages from ancient times to today.

Housed in the renovated former courthouse building right in the town center on Saransk Square, the museum blends historic architecture with modern exhibition spaces. Summers bring cultural events to the square outside, while in winter the museum offers a warm, engaging indoor break from colder weather - a pleasant hour or two of exploring.
