The castle ruins of Weyer (German: Burgruine Weyer), also known as Weyerturm or Weyerhofburg, are the ruins of a hillside castle located 816 m (2,677 ft) above sea level in the municipality of Bramberg am Wildkogel, in the Zell am See District of Salzburg, Austria. Situated west of the village of Bramberg, approximately 25 metres (82 ft) above the historic Weyer estate, the tower is typical of the small residential fortified towers found throughout the Pinzgau region. The castle historically guarded the entrance to the Habachtal valley, a notable source of emerald deposits in Europe.
