Kristin Hrádek is a baroque hunting lodge tucked into the forests near Děčín, right along the German border. It's a place where aristocratic hunting history meets the quiet charm of borderland woods and a welcome stop for hikers.

The lodge sits within extensive forests stretching from Tisá and Děčínský Sněžník all the way to the Elbe River. The terrain is gentle and wooded, perfect for walks and longer hikes in any season - shaded and cool in summer, colorful in autumn, and peacefully snow-covered in winter. The building itself, though modest in size, carries an elegant character and makes for an interesting landmark on routes heading toward Děčínský Sněžník.

The lodge was built in 1734-1735 for Count Jan Josef of Thun-Hohenstein, who named it after his first wife, Maria Christina. Later visitors included members of the Habsburg family, such as Crown Prince Rudolf and Franz Ferdinand d'Este.
