Zaprice Mansion is a charming Renaissance-Baroque manor house perched on a small hill above Kamnik, standing on ground with roots stretching back to Roman times. It makes a wonderful goal for an easy walk that blends nature with a dose of history and culture.
The hill on which the mansion sits is surrounded by greenery and offers a peaceful view over the surrounding hills and the rooftops of Kamnik. In summer, the grassy grounds around the building invite a picnic, while in autumn the surrounding trees add a picturesque touch. This is more a place for quiet contemplation than a mountain challenge, but it works beautifully as part of a longer stroll around Kamnik.

Practical information
Excavations in 1964 uncovered an even older building's foundations beneath the mansion along with Roman-era walls, and a bronze fibula found there dates traces of settlement to the second half of the 4th century.
