The Vrancea Mountains are one of Romania's best-kept secrets — a wild, forested range tucked into the Curvature Carpathians where the crowds simply haven't arrived yet. Expect dense beech and spruce forests, winding river valleys and broad, grassy ridgelines with sweeping views over the Eastern Carpathians.
