Dvoračky is one of the oldest and most charming mountain huts in the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains), perched at 1140 m on the sunny southern slope of Lysá hora. This is a place where history dates back to 1707, and the sweeping alpine meadows around the hut invite you to rest after a long climb.

The surroundings of Dvoračky offer the classic Krkonoše landscape — open ridgelines, views toward neighboring peaks, and that distinctive mountain stillness. In summer the meadows burst into wildflowers, while in winter the area becomes a haven for skiers — it was here, back in 1902, that the seventh Czech Ski Championship was held. Whatever the season, the hut carries an air of history, having once hosted President Edvard Beneš himself.

How to get to the hut

• From Rokytnice nad Jizerou via the Huťský waterfall — about 4 km, moderately demanding
• From the settlement of Rezek via Vlčí hřeben (Wolf's Ridge) — about 6 km
• From Harrachov via the Ručičky crossroads — about 7.5 km
• From Špindlerův Mlýn via Vrbatovo návrší, past Kotel and Růženčina zahrádka — about 11 km, longer and more demanding route
