Příhrazské Rocks is one of the most captivating rock towns in the Bohemian Paradise — a maze of sandstone towers, hidden gorges and ancient caves that feel like stepping into another world. Whether you are a hiker, a nature lover or a rock climber, this place has something genuinely special to offer.

The nature reserve shelters 178 sandstone towers rising from the edges of canyon-like valleys, draped in relic pine forests and warm-loving oak woodlands. In spring, rare plants bloom along the ravines; in summer the whole area is lush and green; in autumn the forest turns golden and the light through the rock crevices is simply magical. The highest point of the area, Mužský hill at 463.5 m above sea level, rewards visitors with sweeping panoramic views. The atmosphere throughout the reserve is quiet and almost timeless — narrow paths wind between towering rocks, deep shadows fill the gorges, and the only sounds are birdsong and the wind.

Hidden inside the rock labyrinth is a chapel carved directly into the sandstone called Hynšta, which served as a secret refuge for the Bohemian Brethren in the 17th century — a quietly moving reminder of the history embedded in these rocks.
