Velké Hydčice is a municipality and village in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 200 inhabitants. The historic centre of the village is well preserved and is protected as a village monument zone. Velké Hydčice lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Klatovy, 55 km (34 mi) south-east of Plzeň, and 103 km (64 mi) south-west of Prague.
