Uničov (Czech pronunciation: [ˈuɲɪtʃof]; German: Mährisch Neustadt) is a town in Olomouc District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 11,000 inhabitants. The town is located in the Upper Morava Valley on the Oskava River. It is known for UNEX, a heavy engineering company.
