Týnec is a municipality and village in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Týnec lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Klatovy, 46 km (29 mi) south of Plzeň, and 117 km (73 mi) south-west of Prague.
