Šumavské Hoštice is a municipality and village in Prachatice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants. Šumavské Hoštice lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Prachatice, 45 km (28 mi) west of České Budějovice, and 123 km (76 mi) south of Prague.
