Slavičín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈslavɪtʃiːn]) is a town in Zlín District in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 6,200 inhabitants. The town is located on the Říka Stream in the Vizovice Highlands. For centuries, it was an agricultural village, which only became a town in 1964.
