Bílina (Czech pronunciation: [ˈbiːlɪna]; German: Bilin) is a spa town in Teplice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 14,000 inhabitants. The town is located on the Bílina River, on the border between the Most Basin and Central Bohemian Uplands. Bílina was founded in the 10th century and became a town in the second half od the 13th century. It is known for the strongly mineralised water Bílinská kyselka. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument zone.
