Ziemski Kopczyk (675 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forest-covered summit in the Southern Ridge of the Kaczawa Mountains, tucked between the peaks of Baraniec and Leszczyniece. If you are looking for a peaceful walk through spruce and beech woodland away from the crowds, this is a perfect choice.

The hill is built from metamorphic rocks — greenstones, diabases and greenstone schists belonging to the Kaczawa metamorphic complex, making it a subtle geological curiosity of the Sudeten foothills. The summit is mostly draped in dense spruce forest, with patches of beautiful beech trees adding variety to the landscape. The atmosphere changes beautifully with the seasons: resin-scented spring air, golden beech leaves in autumn, and a magical silence under winter snow make every visit feel different.

The German historical name of the peak, 'Grundhübel', translates roughly as 'ground hillock' — a simple, honest description of this modest but charming little summit that rewards every visitor with woodland tranquility.
