Zámostská hoľa (1,612 m) is an open, grassy summit in the western Low Tatras that gives you one of the most sweeping 360-degree panoramas in the range — no dense forest to block the view, just sky and mountains in every direction. If you love wide-open ridgelines, this one is hard to beat.

The peak sits in the Prašivá section of the Ďumbier Tatras, tucked between Ďurková (1,750 m) to the east and Veľká hoľa (1,640 m) to the west. The ridge and summit are covered only by low-growing vegetation and patches of dwarf pine, making panoramic views the norm rather than the exception. On a clear day you can spot the Western Tatras, the Malá and Veľká Fatra, the Beskydy, Chočské vrchy, Oravská Magura, and the volcanic hills of Javorie and Poľana. Summer brings sun-warmed alpine meadows and long ridge walks; winter transforms the landscape into a stark, snowy plateau best suited to experienced hikers or ski tourers. The famous long-distance trail 'Cesta hrdinov SNP' (Path of the SNP Heroes) crosses directly over the summit.

Zámostská hoľa straddles the watershed between two of Slovakia's great rivers — rain falling on the north slopes drains into the Váh, while water from the south flows into the Hron, making this ridge a natural dividing line across the heart of the country.
