Zadná Garajova kopa is one of the quieter summits of the Liptovské kopy group, where you're more likely to encounter traces of old shepherds and poachers than crowds of hikers. This is a spot for those who appreciate solitude and the wild, grassy-rocky beauty of the Western Tatras.

The peak rises between Tichý vrch and Malá Garajova kopa, separated from them by Tiché sedlo and Nižné Garajovo sedlo respectively. Its northern, grassy-rocky slope drops steeply into the Zadné Licierovo basin, ending in a 40-metre rock wall — an impressive sight that demands caution. To the south, a ridge extends alongside Garajova dolina, where efforts are underway to restore dwarf pine thickets once destroyed by intensive grazing. In summer the area is green and peaceful; in winter, the rugged terrain and snow make the ascent a genuine challenge.
