Wyżnia Goryczkowa Rówień is a small, sloping clearing in the middle part of the Goryczkowa Valley, known mainly to skiers rather than hikers. Sitting at around 1345–1390 m above sea level, just above Niżnia Goryczkowa Rówień, it's one of the busiest spots on the Tatra downhill skiing map.

Shepherds once grazed their flocks here and built huts, as the whole valley was once part of the Goryczkowa pasture. That pastoral past is long gone, though – today the clearing hosts the lower station of the Goryczkowa chairlift up to Kasprowy Wierch, which only operates during the winter season. In ski season the place buzzes with activity, as skiers coming down from Kasprowy Wierch toward Zakosy and Hala Kondratowa cross paths with those heading down to Kuźnice. In summer, by contrast, it's quiet and rarely visited, since no hiking trails pass through here.
