Wysokie is a modest but distinctive peak in the northern part of the Silesian Beskids, tucked into the forested Błatnia Range. It's a great pick for hikers seeking quiet trails away from the crowds, with a genuine sense of untouched wilderness.

The summit and its slopes are covered in forest, and the north-eastern flanks drop dramatically toward Lake Wapienickie, creating one of the more scenic corners of this part of the Beskids. The eastern slopes descend into the Błatnia stream valley. The slopes facing the lake are protected as the large Jaworzyna nature reserve, giving the area a wild, untamed character. Wysokie is clearly visible from the blue trail, especially near the dam area — one of the loveliest viewpoints along the route.

Near the summit, after branching off the blue trail toward Borowina, look for the 17th-century Uroczysko Kultowe (Cult Grove) — a secluded spot where secret Protestant services and weddings once took place. A series of stone steps carved into the slope in an amphitheater shape still survives there today, a fascinating and little-known relic of the region's religious history.
