Wysokie (1,287 m a.s.l.) is a forested sub-alpine summit nestled in the north-eastern ridge of Kasprowy Wierch in the Polish Western Tatras. Modest in height but full of character, it offers a quiet, atmospheric walk through dense spruce forest — a refreshing contrast to the more exposed and crowded Tatra peaks.

The summit sits on a ridge separating the lower part of the Jaworzynka valley from the Olczyska Valley, squeezed between Skupniowy Upłaz and the wooded Nieborак. It also acts as a knot peak, sending the Boczań ridge off to the west. The entire hill is blanketed in spruce, and powerful winds periodically flatten sections of the forest, leaving dramatic tangles of fallen timber on the slopes. In winter, the silence between snow-laden trees feels almost magical; in summer, the shaded trail offers welcome coolness on a warm day.

• Kuźnice (Zakopane) — trail through Wysokie towards Hala Gąsienicowa; moderate difficulty. The summit is passed along the trail rather than marked as a distinct viewpoint destination.

• Entry to Tatra National Park requires a paid ticket, available at the trailhead in Kuźnice.
• The depression between Wysokie and the neighbouring Boczań ridge contains water intake infrastructure supplying Zakopane — some areas nearby are subject to protection restrictions.

A quirky piece of history: in 1952, the trail running from Kuźnice through Wysokie to Hala Gąsienicowa was officially named the 'Lenin Trail' — a colourful relic of the communist era that has long since been forgotten.
