Wielka Capia Turnia (2333 m a.s.l.) is one of the most distinctive peaks along the Baszty Ridge in the Slovak High Tatras. Its twin summits, jagged rock teeth along the northwest ridge, and a towering east face make it a memorable destination both for ridge-walkers and serious climbers looking for a real challenge.

From the top, the views sweep down into the Mlynická Valley with the Kozí Kotol cirque directly below the western slopes, while the surrounding rocky towers of the Baszty Ridge line the horizon. The terrain shifts dramatically from relatively gentle slab-and-grass slopes on the western side to one of the most important climbing walls in the entire ridge on the east — nearly vertical and packed with technical routes. In winter the peak takes on a full alpine character and is suitable only for experienced mountaineers.

• From Basztowa Przełęcz (Baszty Pass) — grade 0+ or III (Tatra scale, depending on variant), approx. 30 min, easy to moderate
• Southeast ridge from Basztowa Przełęcz Wyżnia — grade 0+, approx. 30 min, easy
• Southwest face from Mlynicka Cirque — grade 0+, approx. 1 hr, easy

• The peak lies in the Slovak part of the High Tatras and falls under TANAP (Tatra National Park) regulations — travel is permitted only on marked trails or with a licensed guide.
• The east face hosts climbing routes up to grade VI, A0; the longest lines require up to 8 hours on the wall.
• Three unnamed rock pinnacles in the northwest ridge had not been climbed as of 2009.

The name 'Capia' comes from Capí Stav (Chamois Lake) nestled in the upper Mlynická Valley. The first recorded summer ascent was made on 23 August 1905 by Zygmunt Klemensiewicz and Jerzy Maślanka.
