Waligóra is the highest peak of the Kamienne Mountains and one of the most prominent summits in the Central Sudetes. Standing at 934 metres, it dominates the local landscape and rewards hikers with a genuine mountain experience without demanding a full-day commitment.

The massif forms an elongated north-south ridge with a gentle southern slope and dramatically steep sides on all other flanks. The northern face drops sharply towards the Przełęcz Trzech Dolin (Pass of Three Valleys), creating a striking backdrop visible from the nearby Andrzejówka mountain hut. Mixed beech and spruce forests cover the slopes, though patches have thinned due to ecological damage in recent years. In winter, the area around the pass transforms into a small ski resort, and Waligóra takes on a raw, snowy character that feels a world away from the summer crowds.

• From Głuszyca — a branch of the mountain bike trail via Radosna to Przełęcz Trzech Dolin (marked in 2004 by the Głuszyca municipality); also walkable on foot.

• The Andrzejówka mountain hut at Przełęcz Trzech Dolin serves as a convenient starting point and a welcome stop for refreshments after the hike.
• Waligóra is part of the 'Korona Gór Polski' (Crown of Polish Mountains), the Crown of the Sudetes, and the Crown of Lower Silesian Mountains — a must for peak baggers.
• There is no viewpoint at the summit — the old wooden triangulation and observation tower fell into disrepair and was dismantled.

Waligóra attracted visitors as far back as the 19th century, when its bare summit offered panoramic views across the Sudetes. Its old German name was Heidelberg — nothing to do with the famous university city, but with a character all its own.
