Upłaziański Wierszyk (1203 m a.s.l.) is a quiet, forested summit along the Adamica ridge in the Western Tatras, sitting between the clearings of Zahradziska and Upłaz. It may not be the most dramatic peak in the range, but it is a charming waypoint on the classic trail leading up to the Czerwone Wierchy massif.

The summit is entirely covered in dense mountain forest, giving the walk a wonderfully intimate feel. Occasional gaps between the trees offer glimpses of the Kościeliska Valley and the Miętusia Valley below. It is a peaceful spot, far from the busiest Tatra trails — ideal in spring when birdsong fills the air, in summer when the canopy provides welcome shade, or in autumn when the forest turns golden. A forest road runs directly over the top, making this an accessible stretch even for walkers new to the mountains.

Upłaziański Wierszyk is best enjoyed as part of the longer journey from the Kościeliska Valley to the Czerwone Wierchy peaks — a beloved Tatra classic that rewards hikers with sweeping alpine views once the forest gives way higher up.
