Szyndzielnia (1028 m a.s.l.) is one of the most visitor-friendly peaks in the Silesian Beskids — a mountain that welcomes everyone from seasoned hikers to families with young children. With a historic mountain hut, a panoramic observation tower and a gondola lift running from the city, it offers a complete mountain experience without demanding technical skills.

The ridge is blanketed in beech forests mixed with spruce and fir, giving the mountain a different mood in every season. Autumn turns the slopes into a canvas of gold and crimson, while spring brings a fresh, luminous green to the beech canopy. From the 18-metre observation tower near the upper gondola station, you get sweeping views over the surrounding peaks and the city of Bielsko-Biała below. The whole area falls within the Silesian Beskids Landscape Park, keeping it beautifully wild.

• The 'Szyndzielnia' gondola lift runs from Bielsko-Biała directly to the upper station — a great option for families or as a descent after hiking up.
• An 18-metre observation tower stands at the upper gondola station (open since 2015).
• The PTTK mountain hut, just below the summit at 1001 m a.s.l., is the oldest mountain refuge in the Silesian Beskids, dating back to 1897.
• Next to the hut is a small alpine garden featuring plants from the Beskids and Eastern Alps, restored in 2011 and included in a nature education trail.

The name 'Szyndzielnia' comes from the old local dialect word 'szyndzioł', meaning a wooden roof shingle — villagers from the slopes once supplied the town of Bielsko with hand-split shingles harvested from these very forests.
