Susz is a modest yet charming peak in the Karkonosze Mountains, tucked away in the north-eastern part of the Silesian Ridge (Śląski Grzbiet). It's a great pick for hikers who prefer quiet forest trails over crowded summits.
The peak rises west of Borowice, separated from neighbouring Mostowa by the scenic Mya Valley (Dolina Myi). The landscape here feels wild and intimate — dense spruce forests cover the slopes, while a handful of granite rock formations dot the southern flank. Summers bring cool, shaded woodland walks, autumn paints the forest in warm colours, and winter can dust the summit with frost and snow for a fairy-tale atmosphere.
How to reach the summit
Susz is a perfect choice for a peaceful woodland hike away from the busier Karkonosze routes — a place to truly enjoy the silence of the mountains.
