Suchá (1112 m a.s.l.) is one of those Veľká Fatra peaks that rewards curiosity rather than convenience. Rising above the village of Belá-Dulice within the Veľká Fatra National Park, it sits quietly off the beaten path, a short side-ridge running west from the Javorina massif.

The summit is cloaked in dense forest, so classic panoramic views are rare - only occasional clearings with sparse vegetation offer glimpses of neighboring Veľká Fatra peaks and even a slice of Malá Fatra. What Suchá lacks in views it makes up for in atmosphere: deep woods, quiet trails, and a genuine sense of wilderness. Its southern slopes fall within the Borišov National Nature Reserve, and at its western foot cascades the scenic Došná waterfall, a popular stop for hikers passing through the valley.
