Studená (989 m a.s.l.) is a nicely isolated peak in the Krkonoše (Giant Mountains) of the Czech Republic, standing out clearly above the deep valleys on both its northern and southern flanks. Tucked into a ridge running westward from Lysá hora, it sits just above Rokytnice nad Jizerou to the south and roughly 3.5 km from Harrachov to the northwest.

The summit is entirely covered by spruce forest, giving it a typical Giant Mountains feel — quiet, green, and atmospheric. A lovely open meadow enclave near the hamlet of Studenov breaks up the woodland on the southwestern slope. In winter the area transforms into a serene snowy landscape, while summer hiking through the forested ridgeline is peaceful and shaded.

The mountain drains into the Jizera river basin — the Rýžovištní stream flowing below the northern slope feeds the Mumlava river, while streams from the southern side flow into Huťský potok. It is a fine detail that reflects the rich hydrology of the Giant Mountains, especially vivid during the spring snowmelt.
