Stróżnik (807 m a.s.l.) is a peaceful forested peak tucked away in the Rudawy Janowickie range of the Western Sudetes in south-western Poland. It may not be the tallest summit around, but it rewards visitors with genuine Sudeten woodland charm and a wonderfully quiet atmosphere away from the crowds.

The peak sits on a lateral ridge connecting the Wielka Kopa massif with Dzicza Góra on the main Rudawy Janowickie ridge. It slopes down toward Przełęcz Rędzińska to the north-west and merges with the Wielka Kopa massif to the south-east. The upper slopes are almost entirely covered in forest, while lower down you find meadows and pastures that are lush green in spring and golden in autumn. To the north of the summit, the Mienica stream has its source in a deep valley, while to the west the peak overlooks the quiet valley of Rędziński Potok.

• Kamienna Góra / Janowice Wielkie — yellow trail via Raszów, Wielka Kopa and Wołek; the trail runs just below the Stróżnik summit, moderate difficulty.

• Stróżnik lies within the Rudawy Landscape Park — nature protection regulations of the park apply.

The massif is built from metamorphic rocks of the eastern mantle of the Karkonosze granite — sericite-chlorite-quartz schists and amphibolites formed in the Lower Palaeozoic, making it an interesting spot for geology enthusiasts as well as hikers.
