Stříbrné návrší is one of those Krkonoše peaks you admire rather than conquer — sitting right on the Czech-Polish border, its summit is off-limits to protect the fragile alpine environment it crowns.

The landscape here is classic high Krkonoše — rolling grasslands studded with dwarf mountain pine (kosodřevina), stretching toward the horizon. As a secondary summit of Studniční hora, it forms part of the long ridge that defines this stretch of the mountains. In winter the slopes turn into a windswept white expanse, while summer brings wildflowers and a wide-open, wild atmosphere. The whole area belongs to Zone I of the Krkonoše National Park, the strictest protection category, so the sense of untouched wilderness here is real.

• The summit itself is inaccessible — no marked trail leads to the top.
• The main ridge trail, the red-marked Czech-Polish Friendship Trail, passes about 500 m northeast of the peak.
• The closest approach is the winter pole-marked route from Luční bouda to Špindlerova bouda, running about 100 m southwest of the summit.

• The peak lies within Zone I of the Krkonoše National Park (KRNAP) — off-trail access is prohibited.
• Luční bouda, the oldest mountain hut in the Krkonoše Mountains, is just 1 km southeast.
• Nearby you'll also find the Úpské rašeliniště peat bog and Čertova louka meadow, known for its rare flora and distinctive frost-formed tufurs.

Even without setting foot on its summit, Stříbrné návrší offers a genuine sense of the high Krkonoše wilderness — a landscape shaped more by wind and frost than by human footsteps.
