Sobiesz is a modest but charming peak rising above the highest buildings of Sobieszów — a perfect goal for a relaxed outing when you're not up for the big elevations of the Karkonosze, but still want that mountain feeling. It's a place where forest and scattered rock outcrops create a cozy, wild atmosphere.
The peak sits on a ridge running from Grzybowiec towards the northeast, alongside Trzmielak and Ostrosz. Built from Karkonosze granite, it's covered with lower montane forest that offers pleasant shade in summer and glows with color in autumn. Near the very summit you'll find small rock outcrops — a great spot for a short rest and a photo. In winter the trail is often quiet and snow-covered, adding to its peaceful charm.
How to reach the summit
Sobiesz is a peak for those who appreciate intimate walks close to nature — free of crowds, with views over the surrounding foothills and a moment of rest among granite outcrops.
