Šindelná (1,003 m a.s.l.) is a quietly charming summit in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids — less of a sharp peak and more of a long, gently rolling forested ridge that rewards those who enjoy a peaceful woodland walk. It sits just 10 km south-southwest of Třinec and is a great companion to the nearby Javorový.

The summit area is remarkably flat and elongated, stretching nearly 600 metres in length and up to 150 metres wide, with elevations ranging from 990 to 1,003 m a.s.l. The top is mostly covered by spruce forest, broken here and there by clearings. In the saddle between Šindelná and the neighbouring Javorový — only 29 metres higher — there is a small meadow that makes a lovely resting spot. The atmosphere is calm and forested year-round, with a particular magic in winter when the snow-laden spruces line the trail.
